Sarangani Province to send help to Sendong victims

The Bayanihan Spirit is alive.

Conscious of the needs of the victims of typhoon Sendong in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan, the local government of Sarangani Province has allotted Php 500,000.00 worth of relief goods.

 

In addition, the local disaster coordinating council has also setup donation collection center at the provincial capitol gymnasium to receive food, water, medicine, and usable clothing, which the team will deliver on Thursday.

 

Yesterday, Alabel National Science High School disseminated the information about the donation drive and today, as we celebrate our Christmas party, our students brought with them clothes, blanket, and food to donate to the victims.

Our contribution might be small compared to the needs of all the victims, I hope that it can relieve their suffering, and so their Christmas will be a little less gloomy.
